The Great LEGO Race

I was Director and a lighting artist at Figment Productions, working on this pre-rendered VR film for LEGOLAND. The brief was 'Wacky Racers with LEGO' and was called The Great LEGO Race. We had to work closely with LEGO to create the 5 custom LEGO racers, each of which had to be created so that they could actually be built from real LEGO parts, even though they were digital-only assets. The environments also had to be completely LEGO-built, which made for some interesting technical challenges!
